need to HIRE someone to allow full cc data to be saved on secure server rc5

I was using an earlier version of ubercart during some tests and demo'd this with my client.
I installed the later version rc5 on the project...

This client does their card processing offline.
I realize all the issues regarding security and they are aware of all that.
They have signed contracts stating that I will not be liable etc...

But...

We went live with their site... I did some initial tests and I saw that the fake card numbers were still visible when you click View Card.
I was just plugging in some fake numbers... not a full card number.

Now that they are getting orders... it is only showing the last four.

I have "operate in debug mode" checked and I don't have it set up to attempt to process cards at checkout.

I'm just using the Test Gateway.

I need a solution to be able to view full card details so they can take that data and plug it into their offline system and then delete the order from the server.

Please reply asap as this is a live project with orders already coming in.

It looks like the debug mode checkbox does not work properly.
So... I need some help.

This functionality was a part of the previous version and I've read some threads on getting this to work but do not know how to do the code myself.

Did you try turning off the option to "not store full credit card numbers?"

I tried the same settings (operate in debug mode and do not process card at checkout) and was able to see the full credit card number.
What is your setting for the 'Debug mode data clearing'? Could it be possible the credit card number is cleared before processing it? Just a thought.

Hey guys thanks so much for the replies.
I found a solution.

I did a number of things... but it is storing it fine now.
Was also earlier.

I'm not sure what caused it to work again but here's the info in case it helps others.

I *did update my data clearning setting now to be like 1 year on completed.
Earlier it was on 3 days on Pending... and so I don't think that was the problem. But I changed that as you suggested.

I found that if I turn on Auth.net gateway, and leave it on Test mode, that was storing fake card data ok.
But then when a real customer came along, it went back to 4 for some reason.

I just recently realized that I needed to choose Auth.net in one more place... in the menu next to the Credit Card. That was still chosen as Test Gateway.

It is working now.
But I'm having some other issues.
Not related to bounties.

I appreciate you guys' input. I will probably contact you for hired assistance if the need comes up again.

just a follow up...
I did the upgrade.. seems to have fixed the customer id number problem which was causing the issue with the credit card data it seems.

but now after doing the upgrade i have run into some other problems.
have posted those elsewhere tho.
